Airport Awesomeness III
Don't mind me as I pore over pretty pictures of all things airport and flying related. (Yes, I am obsessed with airports and flying. And yes there are also two previous posts on pretty pictures of all things airport and flying related - here and here).

Red Bull Collective Art Project
Recently, I took part in the Red Bull Collective Art project , in which creatives could choose a time slot and were given a limited hour or so to upload a piece that followed on from the previous creative's submission. This is my submission - it followed on from a piece entitled "Geometric World" by Dennis Sander. I was inspired to use simple, graphic shapes and incorporate a blue and red colour to hint at the Red Bull brand. I also tried to let the unique place I live in also inspire the piece, namely Cape Town, South Africa.

Airport Awesomeness I
Perhaps it's the British Airways billboard that recently popped up in town, or perhaps it's the fact that it's been a year since my first overseas adventure, but I'm just itching to hop on a plane again (I LOVE flying, especially the long international ones!) and go explore somewhere new and experience other ways of life! Actually, even just flying again would be awesome.
Hopefully this collection of airport awesomeness will tide me over for a little while :)

How lovely are these ladies? Lady on the right is especially lovely - look at that awesome 50's vintage look she's got going on!

U2's Beautiful Day Music Video
Who can forget this amazing moment from U2's Beautiful Day music video? I can't think of anything more epic than U2 playing their tunes on carpets down the runway! Apparently this was filmed at Paris-Charles DeGaulle.
